Project 10 is a strategy to acquire and demolish ten derelict properties in Edmonton’s core neighbourhoods and build new homes for families to purchase.
This abandoned and boarded-up property on Alberta Avenue was the third purchase of the ECDC in March 2021. There was a history of fire in the basement of the home, with a lot of debris surrounding the premises. Junk removal and demolition were done in the summer of 2021. Skil-Tec is constructing a new front-to-back duplex and has completed the framing and drywall stage. The property should be ready for market by 2023.
