Project 10 is a strategy to acquire and demolish ten derelict properties in Edmonton’s core neighbourhoods and build new homes for families to purchase.
The first property the ECDC purchased in the Eastwood neighbourhood was an abandoned property in front of a school that saw frequent criminal activity. After ECDC’s acquisition in July 2021, a fence was installed, and demolition followed. Euro Design Master Builder (EDMB) completed framing in July 2022 for a fourplex and is currently undergoing siding installations. They anticipate the property to be ready for market in 2023.
